Life has been pretty quiet and we like it that way. Being a city girl all of my life, I never dreamed that I could love the country so much. I don't ever want to go back. It's in my blood now.
So what's new?
We have had some pretty visitors to the garden.
We have planted some pretty flowers and several more trees. This year we put in three blue spruce, a buckeye tree and a hickory tree.

| We had our first movie night of the summer. |

| We found some baby wrens in one of our bird houses. |
 |
| We made some updates to the front porch. |
 |
| ...and added a small fire pit out back for when we are too lazy to build a big fire. |

| Added the coffee bar (still in progress). |
 |
| Caught a cool lightning storm on camera. |
And of course there are always beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
God is a wonderful artist!
