This is the story of two city girls (well, one is half country girl) moving from the city to the country. But this is really God’s story. We bought this house for the sole purpose of dedicating it to God and for Him to use it for His glory. Please join us in praying for God to use it in a very special way. It all belongs to Him.

For everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. (1 Chronicles 29:11)

A favorite spot-Kitchen Window, before and after

New painting technique -dry dragging with a paint roller.
My favorite bird watching spot.

We off to a good start.  Everything is finished but the coffee bar.  That will go where the clock and plant are. We are still trying to figure out a design for it.

We found this little table in the chicken coop.  It was a light pine color so we added some red, black, and blue paint, a little distressing and viola!

Then I found a new painting technique (dry dragging).  It looks a little strange but it is growing on me.

I enjoy sitting in this spot in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening, watching the sunset.  It overlooks our bird/butterfly garden.

It is one of my favorite spots in the house.

That wallpaper is history!
